The Organizing Institution:
Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College established in the year 1994 by SNR Son's charitable trust had grown into an eminent institution in Tamilnadu. The UG Courses of the Institution is accredited by National Board of Accreditation and the college has been awarded Autonomous status by UGC and Anna University of Technology, Coimbatore from 2007. The college campus has an excellent infrastructure with all facilities and well - equipped laboratories. The college has signed MoU with South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, Rapid city, USA for students and staff exchange programme. The college has also signed MoUs with Infosys, Wipro, Keane, Suguna industries, Salzer Electronics Ltd and CODISSIA to enable the students gain practical knowledge.

The department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering has earnestly taken up the task of grooming electrical engineers, who are ready to face the high-tech challenges in the industry through various technical oriented activities. The main objective is to develop the department into a center of excellence in the broad are of electrical engineering, so as to provide a world class education to students and to promote innovation research and development. Apart from this, to be on part with the present day competitive environment, the department encourages students to participate in seminars organized by societies like ISTE, IEEE, SAE and other professional bodies.
